Next Book Club Date: June 3rd

The next SWE-SC Book Club will be held on June 3rd at 1 PM at Cabana Shores (on US1 about .5 mile South of Pineada Causeway). We'll discuss The Outrageous Tales of a Space Shuttle Astronaut by Mike Mullane. The story begins in 1978, when the first group of space shuttle astronauts was introduced to the world - twenty-nine men and six women who would carry NASA through the most tumultuous years of the space shuttle program. Among them was USAF Colonel Mike Mullane, who, in his memoir Riding Rockets, strips the heroic veneer from the astronaut corps and paints them as they are -- human. As always, Book Club is a great opportunity to spend the afternoon in interesting conversation with interesting women – even if you haven’t read the book!
