You must select 8 workshops in priority order (favorite first) and will be scheduled for 5.  Workshops may be changed or cancelled based on registration or instructor availability.

1D.  Motorized Car Be an automotive engineer and build your own car powered by an electrical motor
1E. Chocolate Asphalt Learn about road construction and what a Civil Engineer does while you make a chocolate “asphalt” cookie
1F. Programming Robots Learn about robots and computer programming while you program a LEGO robot.
1G. Bandana Tie Dye & Forensics What do Tie Dye and Forensics have in common?  You’ll find out here and take home your tie dye bandana.
1H. Chemistry of Lip Gloss Find out about Chemical Engineering while you make Lip Gloss.
 
1I. Bridges What makes bridges strong?  Find out here as you build your own truss bridge with directions from a Civil Engineer.
1J. Alkaseltzer Rockets Build and launch your own rocket propelled with Alkaseltzer.  Find out more about the Space Shuttle and Aerospace Engineering.
1K. Tiny Technology: Through the Eyes of a Bug Come learn the exciting world of microfabrication - how DO you make things the width of one strand of hair or the size of a speck of dust??? As robots and other engineering devices shrink, engineers have needed to learn how to build small sized wonders.
1L. Design a Roller Coaster Like roller coasters?  This is your chance to be the mechanical engineer that designs and builds one.
1M. Solar Fun Learn how we can harness the energy from the sun.
1N.  Balloon Towers Become a civil engineer and build a stable tower out of balloons.  Can yours survive in a hurricane?
1O. Tool Time Learn about and use different tools while you disassemble small electrical appliances and learn about repairing them.
1P. Design A Dessert Find out what a design engineer does as you design and construct a dessert.
