When: August 10, 2017 from 2-2:30 pm EST
Presented by: Audrey Smith, Ph.D. & Stephanie Neal
Careers in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) will dominate the future business landscape. Despite a strong business case for the benefits achieved via workforce diversity, most STEM industries have failed to achieve a critical balance of diversity in their leadership and will continue to fall short unless action is taken. Women are well positioned to offer a competitive advantage to lead in the digital future.
This session will explore:
- How to accelerate women into STEM leadership roles.
- Why women are hard-wired for leading in a digital world.
- What can be done at an early age and in the college years to prepare girls for STEM leadership positions.
