Introducing Girls to Engineering Workshop (IGEW) – February 18th, 2017

Girls, you can become engineers too! Discover what engineering is all about while you have fun in five hands-on lab workshops. Each workshop will provide you with opportunities to do fun hands-on experiments related to several different engineering career fields. You will also be able to find out what different types of engineers do and will meet women engineers who will talk about how they became engineers.

Girls in 3rd to 6th grades

  • Experience the creativity and innovation of engineering & technology.
  • Meet women engineers/technologists first-hand about these exciting careers.
  • Participate in 5 hands-on projects.

Volunteer Opportunity: Hour of Code – December 8th, 2016

sheryl-sandbergMcNair Middle School in Rockledge will be participating in the “Hour of Code” this year on Dec 8th!

If you are interested in volunteering they would welcome the extra hands to help the kids work through the tutorials.

The goal is to have a 100% student participation meaning that everyone of the students at the school will have completed one hour of code by the end of the week.
